Barroqueanas Venezolanas on CD, compositions by  Efraín Oscher

The Barroqueanas Venezolanas and Sudamericaans are two series of concertos based on the South American traditional music and inspired in the structures of the baroque music. The blend of the different styles results in a music full of freshness and vitality.

Soloists such as the flute, oboe, violin, viola, trumpet and double bass are accompanied by a chamber orchestra formed by strings, harpsichord and cuatro  (a four-string guitar native from Venezuela).
